NLMK Group, a global steel company, has selected companies for potential cooperation among the finalists of GreenTech Startup Booster (GTSB), accelerator for technological startups in the field of ecology.
NLMK Lipetsk has signed a contract for equipping a new 3D printing centre that will be used to manufacture spare parts for operating equipment. The project will enable annual savings of close to RUB 200 million on the procurement and supply of spare parts for the Lipetsk site and other NLMK Group companies.
NLMK Group has started commercial operation of a digital solutions package for production planning at its Lipetsk site. It will improve the accuracy of customer order fulfillment, ensure tracking transparency, and increase production productivity.
NLMK Lipetsk supplied 2 million tonnes of slag crushed stone to DSK Avtoban for building the fourth section of Moscow’s Central Ring Road that opened on 28 December 2020.
NLMK Group has improved its standing in the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Russia and National Rating Agency’s Environmental Transparency Rating of Mining & Metals Companies. NLMK ranked sixth, improving its standing by three positions compared to 2019.
