NLMK’s quality management system complies with world standards
Novolipetsk Steel has successfully passed the second audit of its Quality Management System for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/TU 16949:2002 “Quality Management Systems: special requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2002 in the automotive industry and enterprises producing relevant spare parts”.
Over the course of the audit, effective processes and working documentation confirming quality control at all production stages were checked. Auditors from TUV Rheinland Cert GmbH (Germany) assessed the technical and organizational levels of the company as positive and confirmed the compliance of NLMK’s Quality Management System with the international requirements for automotive goods production.
For reference:
NLMK obtained the Quality Management System Certificate of Compliance with the requirements of International Standard ISO/TU 16949:2002 in 2004. In 2007 the company successfully passed a re-certification audit and was granted a new certificate of compliance, valid until 2010. Certification of the compliance with the requirements of ISO/TU 16949:2002 proves that the company is an acknowledged potential supplier for the global automotive industry.
